How it all started...

Over the last few years I have enjoyed the beautiful world of nature more than ever before, especially being near the beach and sea.

I've always had a love for collecting different shells but more recently it's been stunning pieces of seaglass weathered by the ocean into smooth frosted jewels.

Another love is sea pottery. Again, smoothed over and worn down by the water and sand. My favourite is colours of blue in patterns from pottery dating back over 100 years. Whilst I'm there i simply can't resist collecting pieces of driftwood and the more natural knots and unusual shapes the better!

So, since I'm craft daft I decided to put them altogether and create art pieces which represent all my lovely long walks on mainly local Ayrshire beaches with my furry four legged friend Misty. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy     making them!
